Tested & certified

Every size tested. Every number published.

Most brands publish one score for a whole range. Absorbency changes with size, so we test each size separately and show you all four, including the ones that score lower.

How the score is built

Four criteria, weighted. Absorbency carries the most because it is what people actually complain about. Showing size L.

HIGHER IS BETTER
Total absorbency capacity

Total fluid held before leaking, measured by the Rothwell method. Larger sizes hold more, which is why absorbency rises with size.

WHY IT MATTERS TO YOU
This is the number that decides whether you get through a full night.
0.7 g
LOWER IS BETTER
Surface rewet under load

Moisture returning to the skin surface under a weighted load, simulating sitting or lying down.

WHY IT MATTERS TO YOU
Less moisture on skin means far less risk of a rash.
3.8 sec
LOWER IS BETTER
Acquisition time

How fast the core pulls fluid away from the surface. Slow acquisition is what causes leaks at the leg seal.

WHY IT MATTERS TO YOU
A slow core is why some products leak even when they are not full.
5.5 pH
TARGET 5.5
Skin compatible pH

Closeness to healthy skin pH. Sits outside the weighted score but is the main driver of irritation risk.

WHY IT MATTERS TO YOU
Matched to your skin, so the product itself does not cause irritation.
Certification

What we hold, and what it means

Dermatologically testedAssessed on human skin under supervision for irritation and sensitisation, not just on a bench.
Fragrance and latex freeNo perfume, no latex, no alcohol. Fewer ingredients means fewer things to react to.
ISO 9001 manufactureThe factory operates a certified quality management system, audited annually.
Batch tested every runNot tested once at launch. Every production run is sampled against the published figures.

How we test

Every production run is sampled and tested to the same protocol, in the same laboratory, using the Rothwell method for capacity and a weighted load for rewet. Nothing is tested once at launch and then assumed.

If a batch scores below the published figure, it does not ship. That is the whole reason for testing every run rather than every launch.
